TESTIMONIALS

“Coming from the East Coast we did not find many Montessori preschool options in the area so we were lucky to grab a spot at Little Mountain. We love the beautiful space, the wonderful loving teachers and staff. Our son has grown so much in the 2.5 years there and is more than ready for Kindergarten.  We are looking forward to sending our daughter here in a year!  Most importantly we have made new friends and have built a community here in Seattle.”

“I highly recommend Little Mountain Montessori. My first son joined Little Mountain when he was 2.5 years old and was there for 3.5 years before he graduated into kindergarten. It is an amazing school! Little Mountain has a wonderful group of teachers who are intricately involved in my child’s development and personality. They are extremely experienced, patient, and loving. The student to teacher ratio is perfect, the parent-teacher communication is very open and done in a timely manner. The school premises is well designed to stimulate budding brains, and offers an instant connectivity to the kids. My first son loved his time there and has learned so much. My second son started this September (2020) and I am so  fortunate to continue to be a part of the Little Mountain family.”

“LMM is a fantastic preschool and we couldn’t be happier.  Our two oldest boys started a couple of years ago and our youngest recently joined them.  Warm, safe, engaging, and respectful environment.  Excellent educators who genuinely care about our kids, make learning fun and exciting, and put a strong focus on encouraging the kids to become not just friends but also teachers to one another.  Most importantly our kids LOVE going to school every single day, and as parents we’ve loved watching them grow over the years.   We’re already dreading the day they have to leave for kindergarten!”

“Little Mountain was the perfect place for our son to have his first school experience; he was there from ages 2.5-5.5. We were drawn to the school for its Montessori curriculum. It provided just enough structure to help our son feel safe to explore and learn from his environment. They just have the one classroom and enough teachers and aides (4 total) to be able to provide individual attention to each child. The teachers were consistently patient and loving; you could tell they really loved being teachers. In addition to their formal parent-teacher conferences, we could check in with the teachers at any time to address concerns and/or communicate changes in routine. We felt that communication from the school was transparent and frequent enough to know what the kids were learning and/or celebrating each month. The classroom consistently looked clean and organized, and they have a nice playground in the back. We always felt that we were part of a community. The school was good at bringing everyone together regularly by hosting family days, parent workshops, and holiday celebrations. My son really loved going to Little Mountain and was always happy to see his teachers and friends (a good sign, in our opinion!). Overall, we were happy with the good-natured teachers and the loving and supportive environment they maintained consistently over the years.”

“We couldn't be happier with the education and community we've gotten from Little Mountain Montessori, and that seems to be a collective sentiment among all the parents. Hannah and Aislinn own and operate the school, while also teaching during the day, resulting in a strong connection between administration, education, parents and students. It is clear they both have earned their higher degrees in Montessori methods, and it's beautifully incorporated into the classroom. On top of all this, the school is simply FUN! My family is proud to have raised two kids under LMM's care.”

“As a previous Montessori preschool employee, it was very important for me to find a 'real' Montessori school for our daughter. When we moved to Seattle from Turkey five years ago, Mina didn't know a single English word. She was a little girl when she first started and had attended to LMM for the next three years. LMM was a "first" for her in so many aspects: first preschool, first teachers, first best friends, first Halloween celebration, first PJ party, first show, and first graduation... From day one, LMM became a second home and family while we were witnessing our girl thrive and grow from a toddler to a confident, capable, curious, kind, and loving kindergartener. She progressed immensely with the profound contributions of the fantastic LMM team. From the first day, we trusted and believed in you and you've never disappointed us. Our expectations are more than fulfilled, and we cannot express our gratitude for the incredible learning and social environment provided both for kids and their families, such a great community! We have never seen such a dedicated, enthusiastic, highly motivated, creative, and professional preschool team before. The personal attention, tailored inquiry-based educational program and the way you handled crises are absolutely outstanding. We would without hesitation recommend LMM because we cannot think of a better place for the little ones. We hope many more children luckily will find their way to this amazing place. We owe a lot to you. Thus our words of thanks may be short but our thoughts are long and deep. We missed you already and you'll always have a special place in our hearts! Thank you very much for taking such good care of our child.”

“We have absolutely loved having our son at Little Mountain for the past 3 ½ years.  He started as a curious, social 2 ½ year old and left as a confident almost 6 year old who loves learning, loves school and is interested in caring for the people and world around him.  The teachers at Little Mountain have created a wonderful environment for kids to develop physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively while lovingly supporting each child in their own unique development.  It is such a treasure to find a small school with a great outdoor space and a wonderful set of teachers and families.”
